Searchable Fields

The following chart lists the searchable fields available in Advanced Search in Health & Wellness InSite.

Article Type	Enter one or more article types. For a list of valid article types, see the drop down menu in the field form.
Author	Enter all or part of an author's name, last name first.
Company Name	Enter all or part of one or more company names.
Keyword	Enter a word or phrase. Note: Keyword searches article keywords assigned by Gale Group editors, bibliographic information such as the title and author, and the summary field.
Person Discussed	Enter all or part of a person's name, last name first.
Publication Date	Enter dates in MMDDYYYY format (e.g. 01031997). For additional assistance searching publication dates, see Publication Date Search Guidelines.
Publication Format	Enter the publication format of interest to you. For a list of publication formats, see the drop down menu in the field form. Note: The publication format is assigned at the publication level rather than the article level.
Publication Name	Type the name of one or more publications. See the publication list for a complete list of titles. Note: The publication lists only include titles actively indexed at Gale Group. Titles no longer being indexed remain in the product, but are not reflected in the publication lists.
SIC Code	Enter one, two, three, or four digits from a SIC code.
Target Audience	Enter the audience category of interest to you. Valid entries are General or Professional. See the publication lists to determine which titles are in each category. Note: The audience category is assigned at the publication level. General refers to consumer-oriented health magazines and Professional refers to professional medical journals.
Ticker Symbol	Enter one or more ticker symbols.
Topic	Type in a subject-oriented term. If you are unfamiliar with Gale Group's subject terms, you might try a Topic Search in Easy Search and browse the list of subject terms related to the topic you're interested in.
Trade Name	Enter one or more trade names.
Words Anywhere	Enter a word or phrase. Note: Words Anywhere searches article keywords assigned by Gale Group's editors, bibliographic information such as the title and author, the summary, and the full text of the document. Words Anywhere does not search the publication name field.
Words in Title	Enter all or part of an article's title.

Margin Links

Articles in Health & Wellness InSite can have the following margin links:

Directory Records of Companies in this Article	Links to a company directory record for the selected company.
Companies	Links in this category take you to more articles indexed with the same company name.
Product Categories	Links in this category take you to more articles indexed with the same product category.
Topics	Links in this category take you to more articles indexed with the same subject term. The subject field contains sub-topics. Clicking on a subject term and its accompanying sub-topic will take you to the sub-topic level in the citation list. You can then view other articles indexed with the same subject term and sub-topic, or you can click on the subject term above the bulleted term and view other articles indexed with other sub-topics.
SIC Codes & Descriptions	Links in this category take you to more articles indexed with the same Standard Industrial Classification code.
Trade Names	Links in this category take you to more articles indexed with the same trade name.
People	Links in this category take you to more articles indexed with the same person's name.
Article Types	Links in this category take you to more articles indexed with the same article type.
Ticker Symbol	Links in this category take you to more articles indexed with the same ticker symbol.
Publication Information	Links to information about the publication the article is from.

Articles about the Company	Link to articles about the company
Investext Analyst Report about this Company	Links to an Investext company report
Subsidiary Directory Records	Link to a list of subsidiary companies.
SIC's for the Company	Links to a list of SIC codes for the company.
Investext Analyst Report about this Company's Industry	Links to an Investext industry report

SIC Descriptions can have the following margin links:

Companies in this industry	Links to a list of companies in the industry. Companies are ranked by revenue, largest to smallest.
Articles about this industry	Links to articles about the industry.

Investext company reports can have the following margin links:

Articles about this Company	Links to articles about the company.
Directory Record for this Company	Links to a directory record for the company.

Investext industry reports can have the following margin links:

Articles about this Industry	Links to articles about the industry.
SIC Description Record for this Industry	Links to an SIC description record.
Directory Records for Companies in this Industry	Links to a list of companies in the industry. Companies are ranked by revenue, largest to smallest.
